Canadian Solar 450W HiKU Panel, mono Perc, EVO2
High Power Mono PERC Module
Canadian Solar's Mono PERC Modules takes the best of 2 technologies and combines them into one. Mono-crystalline cells are manufactured from high quality silicon crystals which have better performance in lower light, longer lifespan and higher efficiency rates.
Traditional solar cell technology incorporates an emitter layer in the front surface and a black coating at the rear side of the panel. The latest method, known as Passivated Emitter and Rear Cell (PERC) uses dielectric passivation film on the rear surface of the solar cells. The newer method, Mono PERC, can therefore absorb the sunlight on the front surface. As well as reflected light on the surface. This increased absorption allows for more of the suns energy to be harnessed.
